On October 6, 2020, our university's Eurasian Turk Institute (Director Eun-kyung Oh) held a business agreement with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Promotion of Special Foreign Language Education (Director Taejin Ko). In accordance with the business agreement between the two organizations, it was decided to cooperate in the field of operating language courses and developing joint programs for Dongduk Women's University students and others in order to spread the language selected for the special foreign language education promotion project.

Professor Tae-jin Ko, director of the Special Foreign Language Education Promotion Agency  said, "The students' response to the Turkish and Uzbek classes opened for students of Dongduk Women's University this semester was higher than other universities." 

Professor Eun-kyung Oh said, “Our university students are highly eager to learn a new language, and there are many students who need special foreign languages, especially those in multicultural connections. There were a lot of students who couldn't register for the course due to the limited number of students taking this course.” She asked for the opening of new winter vacation courses, intermediate and higher courses, and courses for students in related majors for our university students.

Accordingly, Professor Tae-jin Ko said, “We intentionally limited the number of students for a high-quality language course.” He promised, “We will expand the course specifically for Dongduk Women's University.”

Turkish courses and Uzbek courses, which are currently open for students of our university, start their first classes online on October 7th and 8th.

In addition, in November, in addition to a special class for pronunciation correction for native Turkish speakers, another language course will be opened in addition to the beginner class for winter vacation, so they can systematically learn special foreign languages.
